BRADY RYAN: Upon graduating from Lehigh University with a Masters in Engineering and Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish, Brady moved to Hawaii for several months to chart his pathway to success. Although he comes from a real estate family (his father and brother both have been in the business for decades), he opted to try his luck in the software field. As it goes, he also was very eager to buy his first house and sought out help from Matt Hadnett. While in escrow, Brady was very drawn to the lending field and he immediately persuaded Matt to let him work nights and weekends in his office so he could really decide if the mortgage industry was for him. Well, as most everyone knows, Brady absolutely loves his new career of just under three years. The part that most excites Brady is helping his clients buy their first home. “Buying a home is a such a rigorous process with many potential obstacles along the way. I enjoy holding my clients’ hands and helping them with every step. I really am passionate about educating my clients as much as possible so they understand how much my services mean to them.”

CHRIS TURKMANY: After graduating from Loyola Marymount in 1987, Chris Turkmany began a career in education at the secondary level as a teacher, coach, and administrator before “graduating” to the world of alumni and development work. Among his varied experiences are thirteen years in events, eight years in alumni relations, and six years in annual giving at Chaminade College Preparatory in Chatsworth and his two alma maters Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. In August 2003, the native of Los Angeles came to work at South Bay Equity Lending for his close longtime friend Matt Hadnett. Chris comments, “This is a natural fit for me because alumni relations and fundraising, as well as the loan business are all about pleasing people. The idea of providing outstanding customer service is one that I relish.” Chris and his wife, Elizabeth, have two children and are Westchester residents.
